Vision
A society which ensures unity in diversity, women’s empowerment, children’s development, human rights establishment and community participation.

Mission
To establish a self-help rural civil society equipped with capacity and skill for livelihood development, gender justice and human rights.

Principal objectives:
a. To adopt all round development planning with community participation;
b. To promote ‘self-help’ initiatives for empowerment of women, children and rural people;
c. To introduce appropriate science and technology in rural areas for capacity building, skill up gradation and development of knowledge of the reference people for mainstreaming in The civil society;

Socio Economic Conditions of the Target Clientele: 
The socio economic condition of the areas and peoples concerned is very uneven and divided into mainly three sections - the rich, middle class and low-income families. 48% of the low-income families are small and marginal farmers, day labourers in hazardous work and below poverty line families. Women and children of this group are the worst sufferers. Literacy rate is 40% among this group.
